Last Sunday I saw these three bands perform live at the Bottleneck in Lawrence, KS. Unfortunately my homies flaked on me last minute so I went by myself but that didn't bother me because the concert was awesome. I had never heard of Orgone or Iration before but they are fricken sweet.
What I respected the most out of all the bands was their respect for Kansas. No haters but rather appreciators as they were supporting us by wearing some KU t-shirts.
All of this led up to Rebelution coming on stage and opening with Safe and Sound.
The best part of their set was how they smoothly transitioned from song to song without stopping. Then after their set they came back for an encore and played two songs on their own : Outta Controll and Attention Span.
Lastly, they invited all the bands on stage Iration and Orgone and did the most amazing cover set. They were like we are from the West Coast so this is to you and they did Dr. Dre's California Love and then Rick James - Mary Jane. Sooo sweet:
